Parade of Homes Schedule of Events
We are less than 2 weeks from the Parade of Homes at Founders Pointe! We are pleased to announce the following events during the home show.
Parade of Homes Preview Gala
Friday, September 30, 2016; 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Join us for this preview night and grand opening celebration of the 2016 Parade of Homes with live music by The Heather Edwards Band, heavy hors d’ouevres by Smithfield Station, open bar, and champagne toast by Pagan River Wine Merchants. Be one of the first to see the designer showcase homes that will be open for tour. Doors open at 5:00 pm for home tours with a 7:00 pm Presentation of Awards and live music from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Attendees must be at least 21 years of age to attend. A limited number of tickets will be sold. Tickets for the Parade of Homes Preview Gala are $60 each and must be purchased in advance at www.peninsulahousing.org/events.
Family Fun Days
Saturday and Sunday, October 1 and 2; 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Live music, face painting, children’s activities, food trucks, characters, and more.
Parade of Homes REALTOR® Day
Wednesday, October 5, 2016; 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
Free event for REALTORS® only that provide a business card at the gate.
International Wine & Food Pairings
Tuesday October 4; event special extended hours 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Wine tastings from France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Argentina, USA California, USA VA, Australia will be available at the homes. Come early to tour the homes and stay for the evening with your one entry fee good from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Thirsty Thursdays Concert Series
Thursdays, October 6 and October 13, will have extended hours from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and feature live music with wine, beer, and food for sale. The Parade of Homes entry fee is your ticket to tour the homes and enjoy an evening in this coastal community. Come early to tour the homes and stay for the concert series. Your one entry fee is good all day – 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.

A Taste of Coastal Virginia
Tuesday October 11; event special extended hours 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Delicious food tastings by local restaurants from across Hampton Roads–all for the $10 admission charge. Wine and beer will be sold. The showcase homes will be open for tour. Featured restaurants include:

Parade of Homes Oyster Roast
Hosted by the Professional Women in Building Council (PWBC)
Friday, October 7; 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Tour these amazing showcase homes while you enjoy an evening of oysters, beer and wine. Tickets are $45 if purchased by September 26, tickets will be $55 after September 26. Tickets can be purchased HERE. Sponsored by the Professional Women In Building Council.
Parade of Homes 5k Run
Hosted by the Professional Women in Building Council (PWBC)
Sunday, October 16; 9:00 am registration, 10:00 am start.
The race will kick off at 10:00 am with a FREE Kids Fun Run to follow. The 5k race is sponsored by the PWBC – Professional Women In Building Council. The $28 entrance fee will benefit Roc Solid. Click HERE to learn more and to enter this fun race.
