Sneak Preview Weekend for the Parade of Homes Draws Over 400 Visitors

The Dusty Boots Sneak Preview Weekend at Founders Pointe for the upcoming PHBA Parade of Homes event was a huge success. Over 400 visitors came out to tour the eight new homes currently under construction on the Parade of Homes cul-de-sac which backs up to the lake surrounding the Residents’ Club amenity complex.

“We were pleasantly surprised to see so many people coming out just to see the homes in this stage,” said Billy Birdsong of Birdsong Builders. “The first couple that we talked to was from Poquoson, and we met families from all over Hampton Roads.” Randy Lenz, Russ & Sheila Hohmann, Les Ore, Ricky Edgerton, Scott Lipsmeyer, and James Crocker was also on hand to meet prospective homebuyers and answer their questions. Eric Sasser had four of his building team onsite throughout the weekend also.

The eight Parade of Homes’ models will be professionally decorated & furnished and on showcase October 1-16th. They will be open for sixteen straight days from 11 am to 6 pm, and extended hours until 8 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Over 30,000 people attended the Founders Pointe Spring Homearama in 2010.

Three of the Parade models are already sold and they range in price from the upper $400’s to over $700,000. East West Realty currently has three new homes listed for sale at $568,500 (Hohmann Builders), and two are priced at $589,900 (E. R. Lenz Contracting and Saybrook Homes).
