It’s time to get to work! East West Partners and the Peninsula Housing Builders Association held a groundbreaking ceremony at the site for the 2016 PARADE of HOMES on the new Richmond Way cul-de-sac in the Founders Pointe community in Isle of Wight County, VA. Nine new designer models will be built on this lakefront court which overlooks the park-like setting where the Founders Pointe Residents’ Club and pool complex is located.Founders Pointe is a waterfront community of 319 homesites and is located in Isle of Wight County near the historic town of Smithfield, Virginia, and is conveniently located just 10 minutes to the Peninsula, and ten minutes from the I-664/Harbour View area of Suffolk.

The Parade of Homes special event will open on October 1st and run through October 16th, running sixteen straight days from 11-6 pm. There will be several extended hour evenings promoted on select nights. The 9 homes will be professionally decorated and furnished model homes and feature new innovative floor plans and the latest in new homes trends. This will be the fifth showcase home show for East West Partners. The 1993 Parade of Homes at Gatling Pointe South attracted over 55,000 visitors and the Homearama 2010 drew over 30,000 visitors to Founders Pointe. East West also hosted two other Homearama events at The Riverfront in 2001 and 2011.

Participating builders in the October Parade of Homes include Birdsong Builders, Ore Builders, Edgerton Contracting, Sasser Construction, Saybrook Homes, Crocker & Foster Custom Homes, E. R. Lenz Contracting, and Hohmann Builders. The showcase homes will range from 2,600 square feet to over 4,000 square feet of living area.. The designer homes will feature luxurious interiors, outdoor living space, and many backyard creations. Price range of the homes will be from the upper $400’s to over $750,000.

Over 200 families have already purchased new homes in this award winning waterfront community, twice being selected as “Community of the Year” by the Sales & Marketing Council of the Peninsula Housing Builders Association. The Residents’ Club features many quality features including a covered wrap around porch overlooking a resort style pool, a 112′ water slide, children’s playground, and a walking trail that connects the neighborhood cul-de-sacs to an 844′ Community Pier.
