Founders Pointe Neighbor Helps Keep Hampton Roads Healthy

Fruits and veggies keep us healthy, and thanks to Danny Byrum and his Carrollton farm, you don’t have to travel far to find them as fresh as they can be. After 35 years of civil service with the Navy, Byrum now spends his days practicing organic farming, growing a myriad of produce at his Carrolton farm located just 5 miles south of the James River Bridge, and only 1/2 mile from the Founders Pointe community. All produce is sold at local farmers markets, and through their Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.
